Native American Zuni Fetish Carving - 100% Authentic Zuni Fetish - Large two sided Corn Maiden finely carved from Tigilite. One side of Maiden has a Turquoise face and the other side has a Mother of Pearl face with variegated corn. Maiden is accented with Turquoise and Coral power spots and etched dragonflies.
The Corn Maiden is the Grandmother of the Sun and The Grandmother of the Light. In the Pueblo Indian culture, corn is the symbol of life; the Corn Maiden brought the gift of corn. The Corn Maiden represents strength, creation, and wisdom.
