A medicine bag is traditionally a small pouch filled with talismans such as stones, herbs, found objects, personal memorabilia, etc. It can be used to bring protection, good luck, and healing for its owner. Native American culture considers the Cowrie Shell to be the symbol of life and no medicine bag is complete without them.
