Native American Jewelry-Zuni Sterling Silver & Stone Inlay ZIA SUNFACE Post Earrings-Clifford Cheama
Native American Jewelry - 100% Authentic Zuni Inlay Jewelry - Sterling Silver Zia Sunface post earrings. Zia cross of Sterling Silver with a traditional Zuni Sunface of inlaid stone set in the middle. Sunface stones include Turquoise, Coral, Jet, and Mother of Pearl.
The Zuni Sunface represents the Sun Father and shows the Sun with a split forehead down the middle to reflect the eternal balance between sunrise and sunset. The Turquoise represents oneness between the physical and spiritual realms and the Coral offers protection and comfort.
The Zia symbol originally came from the Indians of Zia Pueblo in New Mexico. Four is a sacred number which symbolizes the Circle of Life: four winds, four seasons, four directions, and four sacred obligations. The circle binds the four elements together.
